Dr. Chris Zatzick joined SFU's Beedie School of Business in 2001 from the University of California, Irvine, where he received his PhD in management. He studies a variety of organizational issues including downsizing and layoffs, high performance work systems, organizational change, and diversity. His research has appeared in leading academic journals such as Strategic Management Journal, Academy of Management Journal, Industrial Relations, Organization Science, Human Resource Management, Sloan Management Review, and International Journal of Human Resource Management. In addition, he has received four Best Paper awards from the Academy of Management.
Chris's excellent teaching abilities consistently place him among the top 10 percent of faculty on the SFU Business Teaching Honour Roll.
Outside of academia, he enjoys spending time with his wife and kids.
