Externship Program

Our newest experiential learning program allows graduate-level business students, who do not yet have any Canadian work experience, the opportunity to pair up with industry professionals in order to immerse themselves in the local workplace culture.

As an Externship Host providing a student with a 1-week job shadowing opportunity, your benefits to participating include, but are not limited to: gaining a fresh perspective on your organization, showing off your organization in ways that words cannot describe, and developing your mentorship skills.

Managers and senior-level professionals are invited to provide graduate students the opportunity to learn about and explore a local workplace culture. For more information and to register as an Externship Host, please visit: beedie.sfu.ca/careers/employer/externship-program
