A) BACHELOR OF BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION (BBA) DEGREE PROGRAMS

The Beedie School of Business is looking for students who demonstrate academic excellence, strong leadership and engagement. In order for Beedie to assess these attributes,  admission to the BBA degree is based on two criteria:

  • Academic performance
  • Supplemental Application form*

ADMISSION TO BUSINESS MAJOR VIA:

High School

This application is specifically for prospective applicants to SFU, who are completing their high school studies in the upcoming year, or who have previously graduated from a high school and have not completed more than 24 credits of transferrable academic work at another post-secondary institution.

External Transfer (from another College/University)

This application is for prospective students applying to SFU and the Beedie School of Business who are transferring from an external college or university (excluding Fraser International College), and have not completed any coursework at SFU.

Internal Transfer (from another SFU Faculty)

This application is for current SFU students who are seeking admission to the Major program but who are currently in a SFU Faculty other than the Beedie School of Business


ADMISSION TO JOINT MAJOR VIA:

Current SFU Students in a Faculty Other than Beedie:

This application is for current SFU students who are seeking admission to the Business portion of a Joint Major program and who are currently in a SFU Faculty other than the Beedie School of Business.

ADMISSION TO DOUBLE DEGREE:

The Beedie School of Business and the Mechatronic Systems Engineering program have created a 5 year comprehensive, co-op based Double Degree program that recognizes the synergies in these two exciting areas.

There are two opportunities for admission to the Business portion of the Double Degree program following admission to the Mechatronic Systems Engineering (MSE) program at SFU:

  1. Applicants with 30 units in the MSE major: declaration via a Beedie Academic Advisor upon completion of a Cumulative GPA (CGPA) of 3.0 obtained on the first 30 units of the MSE major plus ECON 105 (C- minimum); OR
  2. Applicants with 31+ units in the MSE major: application via the Internal Transfer route, following the academic requirements as listed under "Business Joint Major Programs".



ADMISSION TO SECOND OR SUBSEQUENT UNDERGRADUATE DEGREE:

Students who are eligible to pursue the Second Degree with a Business Major program will have already successfully completed an undergraduate degree in a topic outside of Business Administration or Commerce.
